How the Scout works
The Scout reads job boards and career pages every morning, keeps roles that sponsor visas and fit your rules, and drafts applications you approve.
The Scout is Hireway's job-search agent. It does the reading so you can spend your time on the roles worth applying to.
What it does each morning
- Reads the job boards and the career pages of companies that sponsor, including any boards you add.
- Cleans up. It skips duplicates, reposts and stale roles.
- Applies your rules. Countries, salary floor, seniority, remote or onsite, and your deal-breakers. A rule is a rule, not a suggestion.
- Checks visa sponsorship. It reads the posting for sponsorship and relocation language, checks the employer against public sponsor registers where they exist, and shows you the line it relied on. If the evidence is unclear, the role is marked unconfirmed.
- Ranks what is left, with the reason for each score in plain words.
Approval comes first
The Scout never applies for you. It prepares a tailored resume and cover-letter draft for each role, using only facts you have verified, and scans every draft for generic phrasing before you see it. You can edit every line. Nothing is sent until you approve that specific application.
Coverage
At launch the Scout covers Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia and Sweden, reading boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Arbeitnow, plus the career pages of companies known to sponsor.
AI keys and privacy
The Scout runs on your own AI provider key. Your data is stored encrypted, never sold and never used to train models. You can export everything as PDF, Word or JSON, or delete your account at any time.
